Green shakes are a healthy way to get a quick energy boost in the morning or after the gym. This is my go-to recipe for a delicious blend of emerald goodness that will have you feeling ready to conquer the day.

Ingredients:
Kale – 1 large leaf of kale with the stalk removed (~0.7 oz)
Spinach – 1 handful of spinach (~0.7 oz)
Juice from ½ a lemon (lemon cuts the harsh flavors from the celery and kale)
1 celery stalk with the white end removed
1 banana
½ a Granny Smith green apple
1 handful of fresh or frozen pineapple pieces (~6 oz)
1 ¼ cup of water or coconut water
Directions: Blend until smooth, pour into a cup and enjoy!
